Healing Nature

My vision is for people everywhere to exist in harmony alongside an abundant natural world.

The world provides what we need. Clean air, clean water, good earth to grow food and materials, shelter and warmth. Nature is beautiful and provides inspiration for art and making new, beautiful things and places. This is how the world develops into a place of our collaborative visions. We all have the opportunity to sustain and promote life and beauty.

Everything that we do the the environment, we do to ourselves and future generations.

The world works through reciprocity, and when we give to the Earth to sustain life, we are provided for in ways we cannot control but which are everything we need, and are often more beautiful than we can imagine. You only need to look to your visions for living alongside nature, and look to what you feel happiest to do with your time, to know what is best to be doing and what will bring you the greatest rewards, when they are ready to be given. Have faith and courage, and recall times when this has happened for you - when you have done something that felt good and a blessing has then come unexpectedly.

We all need to do this work to heal Earth and each other. We need to remember how to live in harmony with nature and community, through the power of giving and receiving. Sit and walk around the area where you live and truly see what there is and what is happening. Learn about the nature there and how people used to live. Remind yourself of what you enjoy looking at, hearing, smelling, and what you don’t.

Bring everyone in your community together. Send letters and invite people to meet, to learn who you all are, find common ground and share visions for how you would like to see the future where you live, which is harmonious with nature and the people. Spend as much time as you can with the community, sharing food, music, songs and wisdom. Work towards your vision together, starting cleaning rubbish and removing anything which is not needed, that has been put there by people, like signs, poles, wires, posts, fences, and electrical equipment that is no longer used. Consider the impacts these have on everybody, and what can be done to prevent further unnecessary things.

Restore buildings using natural materials, learning skills that used to be used. Restore and make natural things like old tools, which are best for nature.

There are many more things to do and to restore, which I will write about in the future. For now, remember that you are a part of life, a part of the whole, and that every thought, word and action has an impact, so be mindful of all that you think, say/write, and do.

Blessings.
