I have worked as an ecological consultant since 2011, after completing a Biology BSc and Biodiversity & Conservation MSc. I have worked on a wide range of development and ongoing monitoring projects, involving habitat restoration wherever possible. I specialise in Biodiversity Net Gain, grasslands and solar farms, with wide experience of other habitats, species and methods.

 

I have a passion for using novel approaches to conservation, holding a respect to working with nature to enable the recovery of habitats and species. I find it best to look at historic environments and land management, then apply that knowledge to present times.

 

Through my work I enjoy helping people connect with and understand the environment, looking for ways to live better, gentler lives in the modern world. Earth Ecology tries to make re-wilding, habitat restoration and sustainability accessible to everyone.

Alongside my consultancy work, I have experience working with and learning from environmental projects and people working on the land around the world. I've spent time at Organic farms, Permaculture projects, water conservation and reforestation projects.  I have a Permaculture Design Certification and have assisted teaching on Permaculture courses.
